Innovation and quality

The PodokineA practice started up in Aalter in 1998. Initially I worked alone, but in the meantime we’re working in Aalter with four podiatrists, two of whom have also taken training in physical therapy. So ever more patients with as result ever more soles… As a former instructor in the podiatry training programme at the Artevelde Hogeschool, I was always passionate about working in the ´sole therapy´ field. But there comes a time of innovation, professionalisation, computerisation without loss of quality… and there BORGinsole has given us a serious boost. Thanks to them, the profession of podiatrist has taken on a different meaning: more time for biomechanical investigations instead of the many hours we earlier spent in the workshop. What most appeals to me about the BORGinsoles is the wide range of sole material, which is selected as a function of the complaint, the sport engaged in, the body weight. The choice of ´shore hardnesses´ means that every sole is personal. A BORGinsole can even look ´hip´, and that´s an extra motivation for wearing them! BORGinsole not only supplies soles but also ensures that podiatry is gaining greater name recognition within the landscape of (para)doctors and patients!
